Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

• Account details: your name and your email address (or phone number), and your name and email from Google if you sign in with Google. Whether you signed up as an individual or a business.
• Your videos and what we make from them: the video or audio you upload, the separated speech and background audio, the transcript, the translation (including your edits), the dubbed voice and the final dubbed video. These can include people's voices and faces.
• Consent record: when you confirm you own the video or have permission to use the voices in it, we save the time, your IP address, your browser's name and the wording you agreed to, as proof.
• Payments: the pack you bought, the amount, the date and the payment ID. Razorpay or Stripe handle your card, UPI or bank details; we never see or store them.
• Usage: your minute balance and history, your videos' progress, and the ratings and feedback you give.
• Messages: what you send us through contact forms, misuse reports or email.
• Technical logs: IP address, browser and error details our servers record when you use the site, to keep it working and secure.

2. Why we use it

• To dub your videos: the only reason we process your uploads.
• To run your account, sign you in, and keep your minute balance.
• To take payments, send receipts and handle refunds.
• To email you about your account, your videos (for example "your video is ready") and your payments. We don't send marketing emails.
• To prevent misuse, such as voices cloned without consent, and to meet legal duties.
• To fix problems and make the service work better.

We use your data because you agree to it when you sign up and when you upload a video, and because we need it to give you the service you asked for. You can withdraw your consent at any time (see section 7); we then stop processing and delete your data, except what the law requires us to keep.

3. Your voice and your videos

• A copy of the speaker's voice is made only to dub that one video, and is deleted with the video's files.
• We do not use your videos, voices or transcripts to train AI models, and we don't share them with anyone except the providers below that do the work for us.
• We never sell your data and we show no ads.

4. Who we share it with

We use these providers to run Swara. They may only use your data to provide their service to us, not for their own purposes:

This means your data is stored and processed outside India too. We may also share data when the law requires it, for example with a court or government authority, or with a person whose voice or image was misused, where the law allows.

5. How long we keep it

• Uploaded and dubbed files: deleted automatically 30 days after upload, unless you turn on "Keep" for that project. Download your dubbed video before then.
• Account, projects, transcripts and history: while your account exists. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete them within 30 days.
• Payment records and consent records: as long as tax, accounting and other laws require, even after the account is deleted.
• Technical logs: a few weeks.

6. Cookies

We use one cookie, which keeps you signed in. We use no advertising or tracking cookies and no analytics. If you choose "Continue with Google", Google's sign-in button sets its own cookies under Google's privacy policy.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal data we hold about you and who we shared it with;
• correct or complete it;
• delete it, including your whole account;
• stop using it (withdraw consent);
• name someone who can use these rights for you if you die or can't act yourself.

Email buildingswara@gmail.com from the email or phone number on your account. We reply within 30 days. If you aren't satisfied, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

8. Security

All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS), files and the database are encrypted at rest by our providers, and only the founder can access your data, only when needed to help you or to keep the service safe. Download links to your videos are private and expire. If a breach ever affects your data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

9. Children

Swara is only for people aged 18 or over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger; if you think a child has an account, tell us and we will delete it.

10. Changes

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top. For important changes, we also email you before they apply.
